Since my lilac friends have come and gone, I have been eagerly awaiting a visit from my other friends, the peonies.
Last weekend was the perfect time for their visit.
Friends used this bucket for flowers at their wedding.
I was lucky enough to be able to take one home and I have been using it ever since. The bucket is from IKEA, they drilled a hole in it, added a loop of ribbon to hang and filled it with oasis. It is a wonderful way to hang flowers in unexpected places.
My tree never looked so pretty!
This grove of trees grew on it's own. I think God knew I needed them there. We are always hanging out under these trees.
Have a very lovely week!
Your pictures are beautiful. I can imagine myself sitting in that wonderful chair enjoying the outdoors!

ReplyDeleteOh' Kate. I'm crazy about Peonies, though I don't think I have ever seen one in person. I've seen pictures for years and just love them. I'd like to move North just so I could grow them. Yours are beautiful and love your container. I love your Catherine tag too! You make everything look so special.
ReplyDeleteHugs...Tracy :)
Oh' I thought of you tonight(well really I do everyday). But tonight I did something special for myself. I plugged the hot wax do hicky up and after showering actually treated myself to a foot and hand wax. It reminded me of you reminding me to do something special for myself. Does any of that sentence make sense? The trick was, plugging it in earlier in the day when I still had a desire to treat myself and then even though I was tired after showering I had to do it. And I was glad I did. Thanks for being my encouraging mentor and friend!
ReplyDeleteLove ya, Tracy :)
