Whew! We made it!

This post is long overdue, but it will explain in part why I have been missing from blogland.

This girl graduated!!!
Photos taken by Front Porch Photography, if you live in MN, I loved them!

Just sharing a few pics of my girl with you, the photographer did a wonderful job of capturing her personality.

She is clothed with
strength and dignity,
And she smiles at the future.
Proverbs 31:25

I blew up this pic in black and white and had this verse put on it.
It fits my girl.

Hope you are all enjoying your summer.

  1. YaY!!!! I am so excited!!!! & I am so sad...I love our girl & I can't wait to see what God has in store for should be an exciting ride! But I totally wil miss her, more than she will ever know :)

  2. Congratulations! It's a big deal when your child graduates from high school! What are her future plans?

I hope you'll be getting back to blogging on a more regular basis! Miss you and your posts! :)

  3. Your daughter is beautiful and the photographer did an outstanding job of capturing her personality too.

  5. Beautiful girl, beautiful photos! You must be so proud of her!

Hope you are having a fun summer!

  6. Love the beautiful photographs of your beautiful daughter. :)

I know what you've been going through, at least with the oldest baby leaving the nest. In our case, Emily has graduated but is planning on living in the nest and attending a local community college. That's not so hard because (at least in theory) she will still be here.

We've been busy with lots of other things: traveling to England and France (the girls and I) check it out on my blog, up to the cabin for the fourth of July, the girls going to Lifest (Christian Rock Concert Festival) for a week, now preparing for the county fair. All the projects have to be done and turned in nine short days - ack!

Hope you and your family are having a great summer!

  7. Oh Kate,
You have done a wonderful job with the "Gift" He has given you. Your baby is truly beautiful.
    Congratulations dear one. xoxox Rosie

  8. How I love that verse! Your daughter is the very picture of it. You must be bubbling over with pride. May her future be blessed with every good thing.

  9. Wow, she is gorgeous! A mom can't ask for anything greater than her children know and serve the Lord. What a treasure you have.

  10. She is stunning. absolutely stunning.
I love your idea of putting that verse on her photo, it is perfect.
I just love her pics... what a beauty.
