oooooh, those are SO beautiful Kate...what a wonderful thing you shared in your comment to me today...praise God...my youngest son, i have always considered to be my miracle baby...i might share that story one day on my blog...have a wonderful weekend!!!
I love, love, love lilacs! We used to have a huge plentitude of them but now we have just three bushes that I planted when we moved here five years ago. They've done well and maybe I can start cutting a few sprigs when they bloom this year. I don't know why they're so late. Does Miss Kim bloom later?
Hi Kate! Lilacs are one of my favs... along with peonies, both of them so fragrant, I love bringing bouquets inside to make the dust bunnies smell good! Mine have been gone for awhile now, but I have a lot of ants on my peonies right now. I just read your last post, and I gotta say, that hammock and lunch looked like the best day ever! Have a great weekend! Theresa
I am going to have to find some Lilacs-everyone in blogland has some and I want some too!!!! Don't know how I will find some since it is nearly Winter here but I will try all the same.
I am a bit behind on my blogging and commenting-I have been doing some substitute teaching and the kids are super busy. Glad I made time to come and see you and your beautiful flowers and your lovely tea-time post!
Kate honey I have missed you! I can smell your pretty flowers all the way here in Texas. Hope your doing good and taking care of yourself. Let me know how you are and whats going on. Thinking of you Love Maggie

Hey Katie Lady! Thanks for sharing the pictures of your lilacs. So sorry to hear that's the last of them. I wish that those bushes would flower abundantly and all year long. Now THAT would be something!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend, it was Prom in my house. Oh, all the drama, or should I say Prama? The hair, the nails, the make-up, the dress, the shoes..... I'm tired and it wasn't even my prom!! I know you can relate, you just had your daughter's not too long ago!! I'm glad that's over. It's nice to have the pictures, but enough already!!! Take it easy and talk to you soon!! XoXo Gail
