A Rescue Operation

My latest rescue operation.  Rescuing vintage furs from garage sales and thrift stores.
I should mention that this rescue organization is a non-profit (meaning, I have no job...) so the furs all have to be under $5.
The fur hat is not a rescue, but I thought someone could rescue this poor little boy from his mom.  She takes his picture to put on her blog while he is (in his own words) "looking dumb!"

Have a great weekend!

  7. OMG - what wonderful finds. You definitely have better thrift stores than we do. I'll make you some profits and buy any you want to part with. I've been searching for some to make fur cuffs on Christmas stockings. I MUST get up to MN to go junking!

  15. Hey Kate. I love reading your post. You write so well and your so cute. I love the vintage furs too. I can't help it. I still remember when they were so glamorous before they had to remind me of how they came by them.

Thanks for stopping in to visit me and your well wishes. You know how wonderful it is to know someone cares. You're the sweetest thing and made me feel so much better.

Now if I could ever get a chaise lounge and a swing for that porch then I could nap out there and get that wonderful vitamin C. Thanks for reminding me to be grateful for that porch.

    xxxooo's....Tracy :)

  17. I have a few old furs of my moms that need rescuing from my closet. If I had your address, they just might find themselves taking a little trip (hint hint) :-)
