Okay, I was never in band in high school Rachie. (our school had a very nerdy band... Not that I wasn't nerdy, just not comfortable enough with my nerdiness to be in band...) I rescued this hat from my neighbors garbage!
Neat hat! I was in a marching band for a very short while. I played the drums and had to march with a snare drum. The bracket that fit my leg wasn't padded and I ended up with an enormous bruise on my thigh! The price I paid for my marching band...
Nice photo Kate! Reminds me of watching marching bands - this is not as big a deal in Canada but fun to watch. Thanks for your kind comments on my blog.
Hi Kate, Just MARCHING over to say hi! Thanks for coming to visit me. I hope your plan to get your staircase restyled happens for you!! I can sooo see a leopard runner on your steps. I think it would be so neat. Keep workin' it girl and you'll get there:) I love the flower image in your post on Monday. I just love flowers and can't wait for spring!! It will be here so soon yet it's been such a long winter that it feels like it will never get here. Thanks for helping visualize it!! I hope you have a great weekend! XoXo Gail
Brings back memories of my oldest sister and her flute...
