The Best Things

In life are free, aren't they?

I am thrilled that once again my eastern bluebird friends have chosen my bluebird house to lay and hatch their little family.

Off to get them some meal worms!

  11. Playing catch up:

Love the color of those eggs.

Love Bluebird's prom story...friends today, but maybe more tomorrow. Ok, ok. I'm romanticizing.

Well, it is Spring, you know.

And I so want to take a spin in the dumpster diving car.

Very, very glad that your little guests have moved on to better lodging.

    Love you, sweet girl!

    Sweet dreams.

  15. Bee-yuu-tee-ful! I love bird nests! I don't have any bluebirds that I've seen lately. But after viewing drab goldfinches all winter, I saw a bright yellow one at the feeder this morning! They are so pretty.

I can't keep filling our birdfeeders on our deck because we have bears here now. I do fill one that hangs in a tree on the other side of the house because I can't bring myself to give it up completely... I'm taking my chances, I know!

  16. You have to love a good birds nest. You might enjoy my wife's blog. Take a peek if you have a few minutes.

  17. I am so jealous. I have not had bluebirds for several years now, because the sparrows get their first and then I have to take the houses down. They are such a joy to watch... indeed the birds of happiness :)
